Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has invited applications for various self-employment based training programmes at its Training Centre (MDTC) in Vijayapura, Bengaluru. These trainings provide a great opportunity to youth, women and members of self-help groups to enhance their skills. Interested and eligible candidates can get help in starting their own business through these trainings.

After completing the training programs, certificates of the Government of India are given to the trainees and they are guided to get financial assistance with margin money (subsidy) of 15% to 35% through banks under the PMEGP scheme. It helps to set up their own business with a project cost of up to Rs. 20 lakh for the service sector and up to Rs. 50 lakh for the manufacturing sector. These training programs include skills in sewing, embroidery, beautician, bakery training, computer courses, and other industries. After completing the training, the candidates are guided under the PMEGP (Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme) scheme. This scheme provides 15 to 35 percent subsidy to start your own business Provides subsidy. These trainings not only provide you with skills, but also provide you with the complete support you need to lead a self-sufficient life.
